We believe in the Trinity. The triune God is the creator, sustainer and sovereign of all that exists. Matthew 28:18-20
We believe God the Father has sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem sinful men from their eternal separation from Him. John 3:16-18
We believe God the Son was born of a virgin, led a sinless life, died on the cross, was resurrected, and is coming again. Isaiah 7:14, Luke 24, Revelation 22:20
We believe God the Holy Spirit dwells in the heart of believers to reproduce the life of Christ, empower them to participate in His kingdom work, and keep them until His glorious return at the end of the age. Galatians 5:22-23, Romans 8:4
We believe the Bible communicates with absolute truthfulness everything it asserts. ll Timothy 3:16, ll Peter 1:20
We observe the ordinances of the Lord’s Supper, a covenant meal celebrating our unity with Jesus and one another, and water baptism, a public testimony of our identification with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection life. Romans 6:3-4, Luke 22:19-20
We believe in the power of prayer. We acknowledge our complete dependence on the Lord. God has ordained that, His provision for His people and His will being done on earth will be released through the intercession of His servants. 1 Thessalonians 5:17.
Our Values
Love was modeled in God’s son, Jesus, so we could love God, our neighbors, and ourselves.
Worship that is relevant, dynamic, intimate, and Spirit-led.
Fellowship based on covenant love that is strong and committed.
Family is a reflection of the church; therefore great value is placed on all generations worshipping together.
Word based teaching/preaching to encourage and equip people for life.
Gifts of the Spirit are given to the believers to minister to one another and to the world.
Evangelism and Social Concerns are natural expressions of love to those outside the body and offer the key to the abundant life.
Prayer that is powerful and effective both corporately and individually as a part of the spiritual disciplines.
Sending those who are called by God to transform the nations with the “Good News” of Jesus Christ.
Our Worship
Matthew 22:37-38 says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”
The Bible teaches that worship is not a dull ritual, but a joyful and intimate celebration of God’s presence. The Bible encourages us to express our live to God in a variety of ways:
Singing – Psalm 30:4, 95:1
Lifting up Hands – Psalm 134:2
Clapping Hands – Psalm 47:1
Shouting – Psalm 35:27
Standing – Psalm 134:1, 135:2
Kneeling – Luke 22:41
Dancing – Psalm 149:3, 150:4
Musical Instruments – Psalm 150:3-5
Prophetic Song – Psalm 40:3
In addition to these expressions of our love, God also exhorts us to exercise the gifts of the Spirit in an orderly way as we meet together. While all of the above expressions of praise are valid and acceptable, none are required.
